FFEI’s range of newspaper platesetters are specifically engineered for busy production environments and support common newspaper plate sizes including, Broadsheets, Berliner, Tabloid and Panorama 2W1L formats.
Our Alinte News VN range offers variable speed options to meet different productivity needs. The two semi-automatic devices (the VN10 and VN20) have four standard resolutions with a further four resolution upgrades should there be a requirement to produce commercial work.
The fully automated, Alinte News VN30, can image up to 225 Berliner-sized plates per hour and has a cassette capacity of up to 400 panorama or 800 single plates. The VN30 has an F-Theta bed allowing the optics to be simplified and therefore offers manageable servicing costs without comprise to the reliability and output quality.
The Alinte News 80-100-120 produces 128 Berliner pph at 1200dpi by incorporating a twin laser exposure system. This device offers high resolution options (up to 2540 lpi) for exceptional image quality for both mixed cold-set and heat-set work. All our newspaper solutions are optimised for violet low chemistry and chemistry free plate technology.
