FFEI and Adobe have worked together for many years developing prepress workflows that use the latest technology and features, including the Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) that combines the two standards of PDF and JDF (Job Definition Format).
FFEI recognised that building workflow products around the latest APPE architecture presented a number of significant product benefits that impacted the overall efficiency of any pre-press department, not least in facilitating complete flexibility for maximum performance and job integrity but also enabling cross media capability for offset and digital presses.
