RealVue 3D

Product Description

Printers are finding value in 3D simulation tools to help them make improvements in their print production processes - saving time and money.

A Server based version of RealVue3D was introduced to allow multiple users to create 3D simulations from anywhere on the network via template based hot folders. Each hot folder can be set up with its own unique simulation template for fast and accurate 'virtual finishing'.

New to V4 is annotation and approval tools, providing a real alternative to hard copy proofs or 2D PDF files, streamlining the communication process between creator and client. Digital comments are simply added at any point within the 3D simulation, each one having a unique ID with a local date and time stamp. Comments can be globally or individually approved or rejected with a clear visual guide to indicate consensus.

- Elimination of a hardcopy Blueline
- Fast collaboration and approval with clients
- Show concepts to a customer before printing
- Use of RealVue3D at press side or bindery side via monitors to eliminate making copies for each manufacturing process
- Quicker turnaround, faster cycle times because couriers are not required to transport hardcopy proofs to customers
- Helps achieve a reduction in costs due to reduced digital proof output
- Reduced courier costs
- Better cash flow due to shorter invoice time
- Overall reduction in environmental impact

Platforms & Plug-ins

RealVue3D Server is designed to run in Windows environment. Your customers' clients do not need specialist software to view e-mailed or embedded creative simulations on the web. All they require is the RealVue3D Media Player which they will be invited to download the first time they attempt to view a simulation and a reasonable 3D graphics card. At the creation end of the process (the Server), the hardware requirements are scalable depending on your anticipated usage.

Our recommended specification to run RealVue3D Server is:

Hardware:
- Pentium or Xeon Dual 3.8 GHz processor
- Minimum of 4 GB RAM
- 200 GB HDD
- GeForce 7 or higher 3D graphics card

Software:
- Windows 2003 Server (service pack 2 or higher)
- Java 5.0.12
- Internet Explorer 6 or later, Mozilla Firefox or Safari web browser
