Each FFEI violet platesetter uses highly reliable laser diodes that have a life of over 5000 imaging hours (based on five years of typical commercial use), allowing better cost savings compared with multiple laser arrays or laser bars used in thermal devices.
MAL (Multi Cassette Autoloader)
For 4 page customers that demand high throughput and unattended operation, the FFEI multi cassette autoloader (MAL) offers completely automatic production. With flexible format sizes, a wide range of image resolutions and award winning technologies, the MAL delivers unquestionable quality and performance.

SAL (Single Cassette Autoloader)
An affordable route to automatic production, the single cassette autoloader (SAL) uses unique ID to recognise cassettes/media held offline. The cassette supports various plate sizes which can be loaded via a wheeled trolley when production dictates. The SAL is designed to be flexible and as demand increases it can be upgraded to meet business needs.

In semi-automatic configuration, increased automation results from an online processor attached to the CTP. The manual permits separate, off line plate processing. The manual and semi-automatic are specifically designed to be flexible and as demand for faster turnaround and productivity increases, both models can be upgraded to meet business needs.
