ANDY COOK BECOMES WINNER OF FIRST BUSINESS2BUSINESS HERO AWARD

Winners of the Dacorum Business Heroes received their awards during a ceremony on 20th July

Early this year Dacorum Borough Council announced the launch of the Dacorum Business Heroes. The awards celebrate and recognise businesses and individuals that really make a positive difference to the lives of others – shaping the future of economic growth in Dacorum. We are very pleased to announce that Andy Cook, Managing Director and co-owner of FFEI, was announced the winner of the business2business award.

In total seven award categories were open for nominations with the winners being announced in June. Categories included

  • Business in the Community Hero
  • Environment Hero
  • Employment Hero
  • Apprentice Employer Hero
  • Business2Business Hero
  • Retail Hero
  • Overall Business of the Year

Andy chaired the Maylands Partnership for seven years before becoming a founding member of Hemel Hempstead Business Ambassadors. However, as expressed by the event organisers “It is his support of the Dacorum’s Den initiative for which he received his nominations. Not only has he provided financial support but he has mentored successful small businesses and is always prepared to offer advice and guidance.”

A representative from Dacorum’s Den continued “Selfless and always happy to help, his assistance over the years has been invaluable and we are lucky to have access to his business expertise.”
